Production diary- day 1

 Diary day 1

During our day 1 filming day, we managed to get through a lot. We went to our first location which was a forest and filmed every shot that we needed in it. We chose different locations within the forest to make sure there was a whole range of different backgrounds. We encountered a few problems for example as the day went on, the sun started to set causing some shots that we filmed were a little to dark making us to change the position that we were filming and to find a different spot to film where the lighting was brighter. Another issue we had was when we came to look at the footage we saw that some of the shots we filmed were a little out of focus which meant we realised we would need to re do the shots again. We then changed location and walked to a road with cars and houses to film another location that we had chosen. We had a few troubles with cars passing as we didn't want any moving cars in background, because of the cars it caused us to wait for them to pass to then film again so there was a lot of added time that we weren't doing anything when we could of used the time wisely. Overall we had a very successful day of filming and we had a good chunk of footage and we got to see what we would need to re film or to film that we might of not on the first day.
