Final cut practice

For this task, I used many tools on final cut for example rewinding the clip,making it faster, slower and repeating it. I used 4 clips out of the 6 that we were given and choose the song I thought that I thought would suit the clip the most. This task enabled me to explore more about final cut and get used to using all kinds if tools whilst staying in time to the beat.

    This is good Anna, but can you go into more specific detail as to what challenges you faced? Were there any particular tools or effects that you had trouble with?

      One of the challenges that I faced is that the black blank screen was in loads of different clips so it would effect the beat and the timing of my music so I would have to keep going back to cut like a second off of a clip each time. Apart from that I didn't have much challenges as I choose 4 videos and used all of them with the song I chose. I used rewind, slow motions, speeding it up to make the video more effective. I didn't have trouble with any tools as I got to know all the tools with the previous task of cutting to the beat.

For this task, my group and I worked together to come up with a time line to organise our work. For this task I used a web tool called tockify. This was challenging to me as it took me a while to understand how to use this tool. I have included the original time line of what my group and i came up with at the start before putting it into a proper tool. This will help me as I know exactly what I have to do and when I have to do it for and puts it into place and much more organised for me to refer back to.

CD covers and digipaks that I like

From this task I learnt the digipaks that I liked and what I didnt like. This gave me the chance to decide what I will include and what I wouldnt. It also made me decide what theme I would go with and how I could present it. This would help me in the future with this task as I would follow the digipak style that I liked when creating my own and follow the conventions.
