For this task I used the web tool, Canva. I researched into Kanye West who is another rap artist and is the same genre as my chosen one. I looked at Kanyes family, career and how he become famous and what he had to do to get there. I used many pictures of him and his family to make it more enjoyable to view. This gives me an overview of what rap artists are like and how my genre fits around it all.
In this task I learnt about the different representations in music videos. I used the web tool called Emaze to create this presentation. I talked about Katy Perry 'Roar' and Little Mix 'Black Magic'. I looked at all the different conventions and shot types, costumes and how the video was put across. I now know conventions of certain representations and I will include all my knowledge in the future for my music video.
CD IDEAS. by anna chapman For this task I used canva. This is a outline of my progression with the CD page on the digipak. I showed how I changed the background and the CD and the reasons I changed each one. This isn't my final one as it's still in the making and I have a while to go. This will help me as my teachers could give me feedback about what they liked and why and what I should change and what to keep.
For this task I used a range of different tools. For the first task we came together as a group and wrote up our finals ideas on Pages. We all agreed on what we were going use and show in our music video. Next I made collage using Photoshop to show what props and locations that I would be using in the music video to make it clear to the audience. Once I finished this I used Powtoon to create a prevention using all my notes together to make a final presentation of what I'm going to include for example the pace of my shots, colours, props ect.I also used Canva to do an additional poster explaining our narrative as this is a big part and thought it should be explained properly and separately.I found this very useful as I have all the information now to when i start the music video for what We think we are going to include(as havn't had audience feedback yet) and the pace and theme of the video.
